We use a combination of manual therapy and exercise based rehabilitation utilising our onsite gym to guide and facilitate your return to what you enjoy most! Other treatment modalities include dry needling, shockwave therapy, ultrasound and muscle energy techniques

Exercise Physiology

Exercise Physiologists are allied health professionals who specialise in prescribing exercise to manage, prevent and/or ameliorate chronic health conditions, pain or injury.

Every person and their condition is unique, an Exercise Physiologist will help develop and tailor an exercise routine that fits into your lifestyle and helps you achieve your intended goals.

We treat all exercise physiology related conditions including:

Rehabilitation

These semi-private sessions are open to all patients and are ideal for post-surgical recovery and acute sporting injuries. A one-on-one assessment is required prior to attending, in order to obtain baseline measures and develop an individualised training program.

Each session is undertaken within the fully equipped gym at the practice and run by one of our physiotherapists. You’ll be expertly guided through your injury-specific and unique training regime aimed at returning you to full fitness and preventing future injury.

Exercise Classes

We offer several small group exercise classes to help guide, promote and assist individuals along their process of recovery or management of injuries, chronic diseases or health & wellbeing. All classes are run by our Exercise Physiologist

Strength & Conditioning
Advisable for individuals seeking to increase their strength or conditioning to achieve their goals, prevent injury or to stay healthy

Falls Prevention: Neuro
Ideal for individuals suffering from a neurological disorder to help manage symptoms and promote the continuation of movement and independence

Functional Movement & Balance
Optimal for individuals having difficulty with daily activities due to decreased strength, mobility or balance

Healthy Heart
Appropriate for individuals looking to reduce the risk of heart disease or recover from a cardiac incident

 

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Our Strength & Conditioning program is offered to all local athletes wanting to improve their sporting performance. These private sessions will involve a combination of resistance training, mobility work, targeted injury prevention and conditioning training.

Our expert coaches will assess and develop an ideal training program, and supervise you within our fully equipped on-site gym. Whether you are an elite junior or weekend warrior we will help you improve your physical capacities to thrive within your desired sport.

Our Pilates classes are available to all patients, aiming to improve your flexibility, posture, strength, mobility and balance. Our expert Pilates trainers will tailor any routine to accommodate any injury you may have. We offer both Reformer Pilates and Mat Pilates.

Reformer Pilates
Reformer Pilates is designed as a dynamic and versatile workout, focusing on either small muscle groups or the entire body. Enjoy a reformer class with a maximum of 5 individuals to allow a close and personal training session to ensure you movements and safe and correct.

Mat Pilates
Our expert trainers will guide you through various body-weight exercises focused on developing your strength. These classes aim to develop your legs, core and back muscles.

Remedial Massage

A specialised treatment designed to treat and manipulate dysfunctional, tired muscles or soft tissue and aid the natural healing process of the human body. Remedial therapists will adopt hands-on techniques to ease muscle pain and improve your overall wellness of the body.

Our therapists are not limited to remedial massage and can incorporate different techniques to ensure you return to what you love most. These include deep tissue massage (Swedish), sports massage, shiatzu and more.
